DanceWorks - Leanne King

Highly motivated and passionate about dance, Leanne teaches 20 high energy classes a week. These include three Classes at Danceworks, where she has been teaching beginner, general and intermediate jazz for five years. She also teaches at The Royal Ballet School and The Central School of Ballet, where she teaches contemporary dance.

Leanne started dancing at the age of three and later on in life won a grant to attend a dance school in London, where she discovered her real love - choreography. Her first piece, Colourfever, was set to music by Pink Floyd.

Leanne and a friend have since formed their own company called Mumble and have put on many performances. This year she created a performance called A Touch of Tango, which toured the UK and Germany. She also choreographed a dance for a Swiss jewellery company - Leanne and seven dancers flew to Dubai, where the students performed on a catwalk wearing £100,000 diamond-encrusted watches.
