Terms & Conditions of Membership
The membership agreement is made between the Proprietors (Danceworks) and 'the Member'. The Member understands and agrees to be bound by the Rules and Regulations of Danceworks as they exist, and any amendments to them which are publicised to the Members from time to time (the Rules).
1. Memberships are not transferable under any circumstances and no refunds for the payment or part payment of Membership will be made. Memberships shall be sold at the sole discretion of Danceworks and its decision is final. Danceworks needs give no reason for refusing any Membership application, continuation or renewal. Persons wishing to become Members must complete and sign the Application Form.
2. Membership cards must be produced for inspection when entering the building on each and every visit and given up on expiry of the membership.
3. The Membership Agreement shall continue from the date on which the Member is enrolled until expiry of membership, in accordance with the provisions of the Rules.
4. Charges incurred whilst visiting Danceworks on a daily basis must be settled upon arrival. Please note that membership does not guarantee a place in the class.
5. Membership fees may be changed from time to time.
6. Membership does not confer on a Member any ownership interest in Danceworks or its property.
7. In the event of losing your membership card, you can receive a replacement card at a cost of £6.99.
8. Once membership has expired the Member has 3 months within which to purchase a Renewal Membership. After 3 months, the joining fee will have to be paid, and the customer would be treated as a new member.
9. The Member hereby agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of Membership and 'the Rules' of Danceworks.
DECLARATION
I accept the terms and conditions of membership at Danceworks and I shall comply with them, and with any amendments to them, as are publicised to the members. Memberships are not transferable under any circumstances and no refunds for the part payment of membership will be made.
EASY PAYMENT TERMS (Direct Debit Membership only)
A year’s membership of Danceworks is £111, payable in advance. By concession, we will accept payment by monthly instalments of £7.99 provided that these are paid punctually by direct debit. If, during your first twelve months of membership, any monthly payment of £7.99 is not paid when due, the yearly membership fee of £111 will be payable immediately, less the amount of all monthly instalments previously paid. After your first year of membership, you may cancel your membership at any time by one month’s prior notice in writing to us. Payment for each calendar month will be debited on the 26th day of that month or, if that is not a banking day, on the next banking day.
