Psychotherapy and Counselling
"Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside wakes" Jung.
Suffering and psychological conflict are part of human nature but so is the potential to heal and to harmonise. Psychosynthesis is based on releasing this potential and in developing self-awareness. By knowing ourselves we can harmonise our personality and integrate it into a more Whole and authentic sense of identity.
Psychosynthesis is also known as the psychology of Will, which means the capacity to make choices that are free from old patterns. The Will is about aligning ourselves with a deeper sense of purpose and about expressing our potential in the world. Therefore, promoting a renewed sense of meaning and a more fulfilled life.
Like all other types of psychotherapy the therapeutic process is done through the dialogue between client and therapist and it can be long or short term. The sessions are weekly and it lasts 50 min.
Viviane Carneiro is a qualified and registered Psychosynthesis Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with extensive experience.
Over the years she have worked with many clients dealing with different types of crises and life transitions, such as:
depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, childhood issues, low self-esteem, panic attacks, loss of meaning and direction in life, bipolar conditions, coping with illness, addiction, bereavement, work related issues, spiritual crisis, but to mention a few.
